Septic Products

Septic systems are on-site wastewater systems for homes not on a public sewer system. About 1 in 5 households in America are on a septic system. Septic systems utilize tanks and drainage fields to deal with home wastewater through biological decomposition.

Concrete Septic Tanks

Septic tanks are underground chambers where domestic wastewater goes for sewage treatment. Concrete tanks are durable and can last approximately 40 years if maintained properly. Concrete tanks are less susceptible to damage from ground movement.

Plastic Septic Tanks

Plastic septic tanks are a budget conscious option that are lighter than their concrete countertops. Plastic tanks are waterproof and since they are non-porous are not as easily damaged by tree roots. Plastic itself is resistant to rust and corrosion and naturally flexible which protects them from cracking.

Drain Pipe

A drain pipe is what carries the wastewater from the house to the septic tank. There are also outlet pipes that lead water out of the tank to the drain field. Willingham and Sons is pleased to offer all components of septic systems including the piping.

Infiltrator Panels

An infiltrator system replaces the gravel systems used in the past. Infiltrators are used in a drain field or leach field which acts as a natural water recycling center. The wastewater exits the septic tank and flows into infiltrator panels where is it absorbed by the soil.

Risers/Lids

A septic tank riser is a pipe that extends out of the ground from your septic system. The riser connects the septic tank access port. This way your tank system can be inspected easily without requiring digging into the yard. Lids are necessary to close off access to the tank through the riser.
