Roofing protects the envelope of a home or building. It keeps out the harsh elements while allowing air to circulate and heat to escape. Roofs are made up of several different components including decking, underlayment, flashing and shingles.

Architectural Shingles

Architectural shingles or dimensional shingles are made up of layers of asphalt-coated fiberglass that are then laminated together to give the appearance of deeper definition and style. They provide the look of higher end shingles without the expense. Architectural shingles are a popular and affordable option for homeowners today.

3 Tab Shingles

These type of shingles are named for the 3 tabs that make up each shingle strip. 3 Tab Shingles are made of asphalt and offer an economical option for roofing materials. They provide an even, uniform look to roofs.

5V Metal Roofing

5V metal roofing systems are made of either steel, galvalume or aluminum are characterized by V-shaped panels. They can be used on residential or commercial buildings.  5V metal roofs come with warranties against fading and rust. They are extremely durable and long lasting.

Roof ventilation systems are made up of a series of vents to keep the air circulating in your home and maintain the comfort level of your home. Air escapes through the vents and prevents the roof from overheating. This air circulation through the vents prevents condensation and moisture build up.

Flashing is applied to areas around roof penetrations to keep water away from those possible access points. It is typically of galvanized steel and helps to direct water away from roof points such as vents, chimneys or skylights. Flashing is resistant to moisture and wind.
